Workshops in school/college setting before visiting workshops for young children and their carers, primary aged children and adults: joining the play, observing the play, learning to lead/direct and using the ideas to devise a performance.
Objectives:
Developing theatre craft through play to explore devising physically.
Re-kindle an instinct to play.
Building students' physical theatre language and confidence to jump-in!
Being comfortable in the moment, respond to reaction and achieve an authentic presence.
Being part of an inter-generational performance project.
Directing: learning to lead sessions.
Bespoke One-off or series of Workshops: to link with curriculum, GCSE or AS/A level studies; or, to provide extra-curricular dimension. Choose from Specialist Selection below.
Direction of a Production: whether text based or devised with students.
After School or Lunch time Clubs: build a physical theatre language. Work towards a devised performance.
Work towards Arts Award Bronze or Silver through any of the above.
Workshops can be designed to apply to a variety of subjects not just Drama (e.g. English Literature and Language; History; PSHE ; Citizenship).

My Language My Theatre: students use their own written and spoken material to create their own theatre.
All workshops develop a theatre language using space, body and voice.
