Family Faith Formation Projects - Returning Families

RETURNING Family Project: Prayer

Due 2nd Sunday of the month.

Family Sunday Mass time

Keep Holy the Lord's Day EVERY Sunday.

Bring a family photo after attending Sunday Mass.

Family Altar

RETURNING: Create a prayer space for each child / youth>

YEAR 1: Gather statues or pictures or holy objects, holy water, flowers, lights optional. Place on small table in living room. Use at family prayer time.

Family Prayer Book

RETURNING: Add more prayers* that family members like to pray / learning to pray.

YEAR 1: Write or Type each family member's favorite prayer into a family prayer booklet. Pray together as family.

Family Petition Box

RETURNING: Continue to use to pray for the intentions before Sunday Mass or daily prayer.

YEAR 1: Decorate a small box or envelope or folder. Have small slips of paper and pen / pencil. Family members can write their prayer requests and place into box. Pray for the intention together during family prayer time.
