Past Presidents

Stephanie Jansson (2018-2020):

Stephanie is from Vancouver, Washington who is working for a major in economics and a minor in mathematics. Stephanie likes art (specifically loitering in the Fred Jones) and is involved in Civic Orchestra.

If Stephanie had a pet snake, she would name it Noodle.

Alex McClintic (2017-2018):

Alex is from Flower Mound, Texas working on a double major in economics and accounting, both through the College of Business. Alex was in OU Student Congress as a representative and chaired the External Affairs committee, and he raced bikes with the OU Cycling Team.

In previous years, Alex introduced speakers and supported/organized club officers. Alex also consumed lots of papa john's pizza.

Alex recognizes that the OU Econ Club is among the most active and inclusive student-run groups on OU's campus, with no entry fee or requirements beyond having a general curiosity about why things are the way they are.

Jonathan Kim (2015-2017):

Jonathan Kim is from Plano, Texas working on a double major in Math and Economics. In addition to the Economics Club, he was co-president of the Classic Film Club, an executive editor of the OU Economics Research Journal, and participates in the College of Arts and Sciences Leadership Scholars. He is also an avid bassoon player and has played for the Sooner Bassooners and the OU Concert Band.

In previous years, Jonathan has served as the Operations Officer and Secretary for Econ Club along with being a TA for Intermediate Micro.

Franklin Otis (2014-2015):

Franklin Otis double majored in Economics and History with a minor in Computer Science. He is also a member of the Student Association of Computing Machinery. During Spring 2015 he studied abroad at Soongsil University in Seoul, South Korea. With his spare time, Franklin like to compose electronic music on his laptop.

Kevin Hadley (2013-2014):

Kevin Hadley majored in Economics and History. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Kevin is an avid barbecue lover and enthusiast. Active in OU's student life, Kevin has participated in the Honors College informal reading groups since coming to OU, as well as being active with the Integrity Council, Leadership Scholars, and the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth, among others. He speaks English, French, and Chinese, although one would be best served conversing with him in English. Kevin will seek a masters or PhD in Economics upon graduation, and plans to study or live overseas at some point in his life.

For whatever reason, we don't have a photo of Kevin, so here's a picture of Money Man instead.

Ali Browning (2011-2013):

Ali is a Business Economics and Geography major from Southlake, TX. Previously holding the office of secretary, she has been in Econ Club since her sophomore year. In her time at OU Ali has been the chair of UOSA Green Week 2012, a consultant in The Oklahoma Group, VP of Finance for her Price Integrated Business Core (IBC) company, and a member of the Honors College. She studied abroad with the Economics in France program during summer 2010 and is currently interning at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
