In Margalef On Sight we offer accommodation. We have rooms that we can offer you to be alone for 34 Euros person / night, expecting maximum respect, politeness and cleanliness from the guests.

Crocs , slippers or similar (so you can leave shoes outside and be very comfortable at home)

There is NO cleaning service. Each person should wash and tidy after using something. Mom is not here.
Be polite and clean, you are not alone.
It is neither a hotel nor a shelter. The spirit is to share the space and experience.
Pets are not allowed
Not allowed to eat or smoke in the rooms.
The access to home is only to customers
Check in from 18.00 PM to 10.00 PM
Check out until 12.00 AM
In any case, the owners reserve the right to ask you to leave the house.

Stayed here at Jan’s for three times already :). It’s basic but more than enough, it’s also got very high speed & stable internet for working days. Great option when travelling solo, nice to meet other climbers in a big shared house but still have enough personal space in the private room. Also, Jan would wait for me patiently and help me with my luggage even when I was arriving pretty late at night. Would come back again for sure pretty soon

2 weeks before making the Maraglef climbing trip of a lifetime my friend and I had not chosen a place to stay… all of the Google reviews for this place were off the charts positive. We hadn’t planned super far in advance but we contacted this hostel and they were immediately friendly and accommodating. We wired them some money to reserve our spot and the nightly rate was more than reasonable. Tldr; If you want to climb in Margalef and are looking for a friendly, fun, clean, and convenient place to stay, then this is the place for you. My friend and I had the place to ourselves as we visited early September just before the busy season. The host, Jan and his son Miguel, and their pup Pua, were all super friendly. We were able to cook in the hostel with some items purchased at the cute tienda downtown. Everything was extremely clean and Jan provided us with the best beta on where to climb and when depending on sun and shade. We were happy to hang out in the living room or on the balcony/deck at night and look at the stars. Super easy parking and location to all climbs/town etc. This town of <100 people is so warm and welcoming and the hostel fits that vibe as well. Jan also connected us with some friends that were going to be in Rodellar (our next destination) and they were so kind and friendly. We are so grateful for this experience and will be back! If you stay here, the only downside is that you’ll be counting down the days to when you can come back and visit Margalef and this hostel again. I know I am. :) P.S. get the patatas bravas at the local restaurant .
