Summary;
In this assignment we basically create several questions and produce a paragraph or 2 on each questions giving an explanation and a clearer understanding of our topic Chat Bot.
We also had to look various types of Chat Bot and try to look for a particular one that deals with Natural Language Process and our main focus is that to compare the normal Chat Bot deals with syntax and try to look for one that deals but if we cannot we will try to create or explain how it will be like to have a chat bot using NLP. Also we will look how organisation has changed their operator to chat bot.

Group 2 Speech Recognition
Mohamed Wardere, Usman Ali, Abdur Rub Kadir and Simon Lobendhan (Team Leader)
What we will be doing?
The topic we will be basing our research is Speech Recognition. Speech recognition is
a technology that enables users to communicate with a computer system. It’s a complex
technology that either converts words that person speaks to text that then is displayed
or performs them as a command.
We will be looking at what Speech recognition software is, how to use the software,
the advantages/benefits and disadvantages/limitations of this type of software, a
comparison between two speech recognition software that are currently available, how
the software works, how it is currently being used in the real world environment and the
future of Speech Recognition.

Group 3 Intro to NLP
We have decided to present the folowwing topic Natural Language Processing. We will indroduce NLP and describe the area of intrest within NLP such as Text analysis, Machine Translation etc...

Group 4 Semantic Web
Title: Is the Semantic Web the future, or a delusional mishap?
The popularity of the Internet in 1994 helped in the advancement of processing information by using computer languages. The Internet gave rise to sharing and trading in a global village, allowing interaction between social groups. Computer Scientists have tried to engage with the idea of computers having the characteristics of Humans, this herald Natural Language Processing (NLP), NLP is one component of Artificial Intelligence. The term coined the SEMANTIC WEB(SB) is used to describe a combination of processes in association with the field NLP, one of the processes of SB is to revolutionise the way information is presented on the web, giving more meaning and context to the content, SB is not a new type of web, but an intelligent form of revolutionising the World Wide Web.

Group 5 Chatbots
We are a group of 6 people originally 2 groups each, our group is now doing chat bots and its implications on machine translation (originally two different topics 'chatbots' and 'machine translation')
The chatbots side of the work will relate to two aspects, one being the business side the other being the social side.
The business side will look at the ways in which chat bots can be used to give adivce, recommend etc, the social impications of chatbots will be specifically looking at things like elderly care, language tranlations.
In addition how DARPA American agency evaluate machine translation,we have been looking at the speed, cost but the important part is the how they evaluate the quality of the MT(machine translation), then we will link our part to your part buy evaluation your chatbots choose which is(ALICE), using an appropriate tool to evaluate it, which it will support your choose of(chatbot).

Group 6 Google Research in Speech Recognition Technology
Summary
Our aim is to conduct a reseaerch on Googles Research in Speech recognition technology focusing on how Google have applied Speech recognition technology to most of its product such as Mobile Handsets, Android OS and Android Tablet. Our research is also required to look on Google's effort to advance in technology designs to respond to human voice withoud having to type for many users such as blind, hearing-disable, and to market goods, as well as non-disabled.
Therefore, this research is required to look at various discoveries in this domain, new findings, objectives about our findings, how they achieve those objectives, what happened, what fail, what went well and what did not go well, successes and finally how Natural language process are link to our research.

Group 7 Speech Recognition: A theoretical approach.
Members: Rudolf Engmann, Mewael Kaffel, Abdullah Mustan (team leader), Mahmud Chowdhury.
Our research on this subject will hopefully bring to light the underlying technologies and theoretical reasonings behind speech recognition technologies.
