Blacksburg Parks and Rec. Mushroom Walk

Greetings New River Valley Mushroom Club,

• I'm leading a walk for the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department at Pandapas Pond this Saturday, October 20th, from 1:30-5:00 PM (round-trip). It meets at the Blacksburg Community Center and goes to Pandapas Pond. It costs $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. The profit goes to our club and might enable us to do more in 2013!

Click the middle gray dot and mouse over the pages to find page 18. The program is on the left and it's called "The Fungus Among Us."

• Registration information is on page 7. You can register online or call 961-1149 or 961-1135. The registration deadline is Thursday!!! I know this is late notice, I had trouble finding the listing and getting all the information out to you all in a timely fashion.

• I need to know who is planning on attending from the New River Valley Mushroom Club, though you will still need to register with Blacksburg.
