Fall Fun

November 11

I decided to practice taking photos using manual settings and since it is really beautiful here with all the leaves turning, I took Ryan to the park to be my model. The park had some really pretty yellow trees and Ryan was a great subject and had fun playing.

Unfortunately all these pretty trees lose their leaves. Our yard was COVERED in leaves that took us 3 days to rake up and around 40 bags were filled! And to make matters worse, our oak tree has not lost all of its leaves so we will be raking again probably before snow or in spring. Sigh! The boys did love playing in our huge piles of leaves which was very cute. Ryan even said he wanted to take his nap in the pile of leaves.

Ryan's 3rd Birthdays

Ryan must think everyday is his birthday! We celebrated before we left for CA...

Then we sang to him on his real birthday...

And then we had a party for him at Hillcrest Farms (they have train rides- do you see a theme?)

Plus, with all the gifts he keeps getting every now and then I'm not sure he knows the party is over!

California Dreamin'

November 20-30

We went back to California for Thanksgiving and had a great time!

First we went to Disneyland which was a lot of fun! Unfortunately I got hives on the plane, so things were a little uncomfortable for me.

We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Adams, Aunt Julie, Uncle Jared, and cousins Coby and Lily. Adam especially liked the Jedi training we watched. Too much fun!

Once we got back to Grandma's and Grandpa's my feet and hands swelled up so we took it easy for a few days. We did get to have FHE with Uncle Joel, Aunt Sam, and cousins Eva and Liam which was a nice break for me from just sitting around all day.

We had Thanksgiving with my family and Uncles Reid and Piece came to visit.

Here the boys are watching old Donald Duck cartoons on Pierce's i-phone.

Then on Friday Neal played tennis with his brothers (too bad no pictures of that!) and I scrapbooked with my mom while the boys went to visit Grandma and Grandpa May (and the jungle of course!).

Saturday we celebrated Ryan's birthday at a tree farm, ate dinner with our friends, and then that night Neal and I got to see Reid and Pierce rock out in concert.

Sunday we visited Jeff and Joy's for Morgan's birthday then went back to Grandma and Grandpa Adams' for tree decorating and Christmas light viewing.

Monday we flew back home. Unfortunately for me again, I got food poisoning which threw me out for a few days.

We were so glad to be able to visit everyone we could!
