The "Commodore Sloan Regatta" Aug. 6, 2016 was a great success!

Stephan Sloan performed as Race Committee admirably, sharply dressed, a great solo performance!

Race 1

1- McClatchey

2- Roy

3- Davis

(Barker did not come to the starting area for race 1)

Windward leeward course axis 230° distance 1 mile

Davis, with a commanding lead, rounded the pin end of the line and started back up wind and did not realize his error until McClatchy and Roy had finished.

Race 2

1- McClatchey

2- Roy

3- Davis

4- Barker

Windward leeward course axis 230° distance 1 mile

Davis on course side at start and had to return McClatchy and Roy extended Leeds. Barker started on Port Crossing behind leaders

Race 3

Windward leeward course twice around axis 192° distance 1.4 mile

Clean start by all yachts with the fleet splitting and racing up both sides of the international 210 class which was now racing in the S class race area. On the second Winward leg McClatchy found a magic combination of speed and height and pulled away from the fleet with Roy grinding back some of the lead by the top Mark and threatening throughout the final downwind leg.
