Excel:mini-2

Excel:mini-2 is my second New (half-size) Micromouse, built in 2010. It was the first New (half-size) Micromouse in which I incorporated a DIY 10-bit magnetic encoder, specifically the AS5040 from AustriaMicrosystem. To achieve this, I disassembled two small DC motors from a small RC servo motor. I coupled both the magnetic encoder and DC motors using a machined delrin piece, which was then securely fixed on the PCB. This integration allowed for precise motor control and accurate position sensing in the Micromouse.
