3rd and 4th Grade .

  Welcome to Second Cycle. Now there is much more text here! Why? Because you can read faster, and you do not need so much visual support as you needed before. But don't worry. You will find games and videos here too.

   Physical Education is a course taken during primary and secondary school that encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration setting (From:Wikipedia).

    Psycho...what? Do not worry. This definition means that in P.E. you are going to improve your motor skills; you will learn, for example, how to:

    - run faster,

    - jump higher,

    - throw and catch balls and/or different stuff in many ways.

    - make different kinds of rolls around your body axes.

    - improve you balance.

    And how are we going to do that in front of our computers?

    P.E. is much more than running, jumping, practicing sports... P.E. is a way of living. Exercise and sports are just one part of P.E. Nutrition, hygiene, respect, collaboration... are some very important elements of P.E. as well.

 A NEW FRIEND

    I would like to introduce you to a new friend: J. He is going to give you some useful tips about surfing on the Internet. Read them carefully.

    Jumping, running, rolling... can be improved just with training. And we must train these skills at the gym, obviously. But  the Internet can support us with the rest of P.E. issues, such as nutrition, safety, collaboration... So, that is what we are going to do. Physical activity will be carried out at gym or playground, and "Mental" activity will be carried out with our computers. But do not forget that physical activity is as important as mental activity in our course.

TIP: BACK AND NEXT.

If we want to surf on the Internet, we need a special software: a web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome...). You are using a web browser right now.    Sometimes you will have to quit myphysicaleducationwebpage to play a game, watch a video... How do you get back when you finish? It's easy: make click on the "back" button of your browser, and you will be here again.

    You already know how this works, don´t you?

    Make click on the picture(s):

TIP: ALWAYS READ BEFORE.

This is a very important point: if you are going to make click on a picture, a word... you must read carefully before doing it. If you have any doubts about an Internet link, you must ask for help to your father, your mother, your teacher... They will tell you what to do. Don't make click "like a robot". The Internet is an awesome place, but we must be alert!
