Assuming you currently have a Google Doc file and would like to export it into a Word file on your desktop, it takes a few simple steps.
First, while you are on your Google Doc homepage, open a document by double-clicking it. Once the document is opened, go to the top left corner of the page and select "File". Once you have clicked it, a drop-down menu will appear. Bring your cursor over "Download as", and then select "Microsoft Word". After pressing it, the file should download onto your desktop as a Microsoft Word file.
