This assignment was more intricate and time consuming than the other modules to complete, but offered a valuable lesson on the importance of using your thinking skills and resources rather than relying on the basics that are given to you. In this assignment, I found that it was easier for me to create links and new pages intuitively and by memory, rather than having to rely on previous step-by-step instructions. I could do simple tasks faster and with more efficiency because of previous experience.
However, I found that I struggled on certain aspects before realizing that the instructions given called for my own research on the internet on how to do certain tasks, such as uploading a Google Doc onto my web page. This module also called for a significantly bigger task, in writing a short MLA formatted paper, which required more time and effort.
One thing I have found myself to struggle with is keeping up with the due dates of assignments and ensuring that I have completed ALL tasks required. It is easy to overlook a very small part of the assignment or forget to complete something on time, which I think may be easier if there was some sort of algorithm where the students could officially "submit" or check a task off. Perhaps if there was a system that gave instantaneous feedback for if the student did something correctly or if the student completed something incorrectly and could go back to check. I am not sure if this would be possible, but they would be a great help in ensuring that submitted assignments are complete and sound.
