6c. Flour
2pkg Yeast
1T Sugar
2t Salt
1/4t Baking Soda
2c Milk
1/2c Cold Water
Cornmeal
Mix 3 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda in a large bowl.
Heat the milk and water to 125o.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry.
Stir in remaining 3 cups of flour.
Spoon into loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal.
Sprinkle cornmeal on top.
Cover and let rise for 45 minutes.
Bake at 400o for 25 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
This bread is super simple and quick to make. My boys love it for breakfast, toasted with some butter or jam on it. So yummy.
