In the Fall of 2013 I completed Karen Day's HRD 636 Planning Programs for Adult Learners. This course fell at the most serendipitous time as I was new to my Program Director/Faculty position at York County Community College and found myself in need of a quick development of an orientation presentation defining our veterinary technology program and curriculum. I had no idea what I needed to be doing and this course provided all of the tools and leadership needed to get the job done. This needed to be done for presentation to students, for introduction to our Board of Advisors and to outside interests including the Maine Veterinary Medical Association. Because this program was so critical to my work at YCCC I have attached several resulting products.
1) The paper including the research work done to support the final products.
2) The power point that was used/is used for program orientations.
3) The packet of papers that accompanies the power point when presenting to students.
