What should you bring to Ranchstock? Some thoughts:
Sunscreen!! The sun is bright up here!
A water bottle!! Stay Hydrated!! (This is important, we won't be supplying cups.)
Another water bottle!! For beverages! (This is important, we won't be supplying cups.)
A hat. Keep that sun off your head! (Cowboy hats are preferred.)
Sunglasses. You want to look cool, don't you?
Bug repellent. There can be mosquitoes. A little repellent does wonders.
A WARM sleeping bag. It can get cold at night.
Warm clothes. It can get cold at night.
Not so warm clothes. It can get hot during the day.
Sensible shoes. The ground is uneven. There is tall grass and sometimes the plants are prickly.
A sense of fun! We want everyone to have a good time!
Finally, bring your Good Sense!! As discussed in the "Caution" section, there is wildlife, coyotes, a moose, and once in a great while, a random bear, in the area. Never have had any sort of incidents - but You're not in Denver anymore, Dorothy!!
