Dragons Out In My Garage

Dragons Out In My Garage

Words and Music by Sue Wood

Yesterday I saw dragons, out in my garage.

I know I really saw them, they weren't just a mirage.

They were tall and graceful, with wings of shiny green.

The most beautiful creatures, that I have ever seen.

They raised up their voices, together in song.

I wanted to join them, but felt I didn't belong.

They turned toward me, and told me to sing.

Saying all creatures were welcome, even those without wings.

Yesterday I saw dragons, out in my garage.

I know I really saw them, they weren't just a mirage.

They were tall and graceful, with wings of shiny green.

The most beautiful creatures, that I have ever seen.

They said music is the one thing, that we all share.

It can take away your sorrow, or take you anywhere.

On the wings of their voices, I knew it was true.

And now I share their story, in my song for you.

Yesterday I saw dragons, out in my garage.

I know I really saw them, they weren't just a mirage.

They were tall and graceful, with wings of shiny green.

The most beautiful creatures, that I have ever seen.

They said sing when you're happy, sing when you're sad.

Sing to yourself, to your Mom or your Dad.

Sing when you're little, sing when you're tall.

The magic of music, belongs to us all.
