Barbara J. "Mrs. Orville" Taylor, 69, of Black River Falls died Friday, March 6, 2015 in Gundersen Medical Center in LaCrosse.
Barb was born in Sparta Sept. 11, 1945, to Vernon F. and Cora (Mullet) Emery.
She was raise in Sparta and Black River Falls and graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1964.
She married Orville Taylor July 27, 1968, in Black River Falls.
The couple resided their entire married lives in the Oak Ridge area of the town of Manchester in Jackson County.
Barb was employed at the Dadco Pizza Factory, in the grocery and liquor departments at Al-Min Grocery and in the laundry and housekeeping departments at the Family Heritage Care Center.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Orville: one son, Jeffrey Taylor, Black River Falls; one brother, Richard Emery and one sister, Geraldine Flood, both of Black River Falls; two grandchildren, Cody (Kaitlyn) Taylor and Jacob Taylor, one great-granddaughter, Sophie Garbers; and five nieces and nephews, Lourie, Brenda, Craig, Sue and Brian.
In accordance with Barb's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation.
