Together with Olivier De Jonghe and Mike Mariathasan, I'm a cofounder and organizer of the Empirical Financial Intermediation network.
The EFI Network aims to bring together researchers with an interest in empirical financial intermediation.
We organize workshops with a limited number of promising papers, during which we provide ample time for each paper. We aim for a lively discussion and thus prioritize high quality papers that can still benefit from feedback, invite dedicated discussants, and leave room for an engaging Q&A with the floor.
We intend to put together programs with a balanced mix of seniority, so we also encourage submissions from assistant professors (or even job market candidates).
The meetings take place in Brussels on the last Friday of each April and November.
