We have until early September to comment on the development proposals.
Frank and I have taken a lead, on behalf of FoSSP, to find out more and to push for the inclusion of a green link along Sedan Way. We met the headteacher at Surrey Square Primary School this morning – she fully supports incorporating Sedan Way into a green link.
The next step is to organise a meeting of interested groups/stakeholders, who are in support of the Sedan Way green link, and forward the outcome of the meeting to the Harvard Gardens planners and the relevant people within Southwark Council. I am in the process of contacting local groups.
I have been in touch with Peter W. who was largely instrumental in setting up the East Walworth Green Links Forum, which resulted in the publication of a Green Links feasibility study by the consultants, Mouchel, in 2010.
