Hi Everyone-

After sending out contracts on May 1st, most judging assignments are filled.  I am still in need of a few judges for each festival other than the spring MS Solo and Ensemble, which should be good to go unless the numbers are different from last year.  There may be a scramble for some judges for our Band and Orchestra Festivals when we get more sites (and please host if you can!) as the system does not allow me to hire judges unless we have a bonafide site for a festival.  However, for this time of year, I think we are in good shape.

If you are interested in becoming an MSBOA adjudicator, the state is having training sessions for Band and Orchestra Festival and Jazz Festival.  The B and O training is Saturday, March 13, 2027 at St. Johns HS, and the Jazz training is Tuesday, March 23, 2027 at Bloomfield Hills HS (during the school day).  The state has more info on these events if you are interested.  Links to the info and applications are below:
