Web Development 1 is a single-semester course designed to guide students in a project-based environment in the development of a website using HTML 5 and CSS. Students learn about Careers in website design and development. They learn how websites are planned, designed, developed and deployed by building their own website. We will utilize CodeHS.com to facilitate much of learning for this class. The final project will include a multi-page web site designed and programmed by the student.
Web Development 2 is a single-semester continuation course designed to guide students in a project-based environment in the development of a website using HTML 5, Advanced CSS and JavaScript. Students will learn and use different scripting technologies to create more dynamic and interactive websites. They learn what it takes for a career in Web Development as they complete projects and create their own interactive websites.
Additional Information
Web Development 1 satisfies the Digital Studies graduation requirement (1 Semester).
