Part 1: Your task is to explain the different types of figurative language in a guidebook for fourth graders. Be as creative as you would like, but you must include the following:

1. Title Page

2. Table of Contents with page numbers

3. A page explaining what figurative language is and how it can improve your writing

4. Simile

5. Metaphor

6. Alliteration

7. Personification

8. Repetition

9. Onomatopoeia

10. About the author page (Give the reader information about who you are)

Each figurative language page should include:

1. A description of what it is

2. An example of the figurative language

Part 2: Complete the figurative language activities and quizzes. Be sure to write down all your scores for your teacher to see.
