z2 Terry's Combat Stress Calendar Update

Good afternoon all,

It’s been a while since I last put pen to paper so thought it was probably time to give an update on what is happening with our proposed fund raising calendar for Combat Stress, so without further ado here we go.

Fund Raising Calendar

With help from register members, we have managed to amass 11 sponsors for the calendar, we were after 12 but honestly more than happy to have got as many as we have, there is still time to recruit another, we have a few irons in the fire so let’s see what the coming weeks bring.

In the initial plan our thoughts were to use R100s for the calendar shots, however after discussions between ourselves, MOG and The MMC it was agreed to promote the calendar with a more generic theme of “Combat Stress build a Morgan”, The MMC being agreeable to veterans and CS volunteers being photographed around the factory making, fitting, fettling various aspects of a Morgan the new plan was born. (Sam please note how easily we slipped the word fettling into the converation)

For photography and images we have enlisted the assistance of 5 volunteer students from Malvern College with a couple of experienced Tutors, Granville and Nigel from MOG.

Alongside this we have a mix of 10/12 veterans and volunteers from CS and a couple of tour guided from MMC.

So its all coming together, we will be shooting the calendar images on 27^th October, splitting in to 2 teams and covering all aspects of the build from beginning to end.

The plan is that each student will have a published photo accredited to them and the final 2 are between Nigel and Granville from Mog.

Each Month has a company/business sponsor, to date these are, Williams, BHM, Ledgerwoods, Wolf Performance, Gott and Wynne, Morgan Car Badges (Hermen Pol), Classic Driving Developments, Librands, Suspension Supplies Ltd, MOG and MMC.

Each sponsors month will contain their company details and a note thanking them for sponsoring the calendar.

Calendars will be available to order at £10.00 plus p&p from our AMD email of allmorgansblenheim@gmail.com or MOG magazine on 01905928278

Images of the calendar are obviously not available yet but it’s being advertised in MOG magazine now, you can pre order without seeing the images if you want to, the reality is it’s a fund raiser not a calendar beauty contest!

Nearer the time we will also list them on Ebay with a buy it now price and social media sites.

We are also hopeful that as Register members you will support the project by ordering calendars in advance, just drop us a line at allmorgansblenheim@gmail.com with your requirements, we will get them in hand for you, all being posted out before Xmas.

We can post to any UK address and most countries around the world so maybe you have friends, family, acquaintances that would like one.

We will publish some images for you shortly after the 27^th
