Cultural visits: the setting of the village of Moeciu de Sus makes it an ideal point for going on day tours to the main touristical sites in the area of Transylvania: Bran, Rasnov, the bear sanctuary in Zarnesti, Brasov, Prejmer, Sinaia, Viscri, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Bucharest ...

Hiking: The hiking and biking trips are very popular due to the red of paths developed in time, by the locals who needed to get to their “odai”, where they used to shelter the cattle, to feed them. These paths are random and unmarked and in their gran majority go through locals pastures, which are private properties, but whichever you take, it will surely get you to a marvelous place. In the Bucegi Natural Park there are marked trails which go up the mountain. These trails take longer time and effort. You can always go for a guided hike. The local guides will always take you to the best places. On the other hand, the Piatra Craiului National Park is only 30 km away from the village and offers a lot of hiking possibilities as well.
