Cabana Bradul – Rural Guesthouse in Transylvania
In the garden at the side of the house there is a barbecue area and a terrace which lies on the riverside. At the back of the house, on a higher position, there´s a relaxation area with chaise longues and swings with beautiful views over the valley.
We have also built an oasis for the little ones, a children playground with swings, 2 small houses, a mini hiking trail and a slide.
Wifi access is free of charge for our guests.
The guesthouse is a beautiful, wooden building and is organized as follows: On the ground floor there´s a large, covered terrace, the entrance and the kitchen. On the 1st floor there are the 2 apartments and the living room and on the 2nd floor there are 4 double rooms. Both apartments and the 4 rooms have private bathroom with shower, double beds, drawer and a little TV with satellite. The apartments are each one made of 2 separate rooms, separated by door. In each apartment there is one bathroom and one TV. In one of the apartments there is 1 king size bed and 2 twins, while the 2nd apartment has got 2 double beds.
Cabana Bradul is a cosy rural guesthouse that offers great stays for its guests. It is settled in the village of Moeciu de Sus, in the centre of Transylvania, inside the Carpathian mountain range, 180 kmts distance from Bucharest, 35 kmts distance from Brasov and 12 kmts distance from Bran.
The surrounding area includes the Bucegi Mountain range which offers the possibility of larger or shorter hikes and trekking trails with different difficulty levels; the city of Brasov with the medieval old center, the Black Church, the History Museum; Bran - with the famous Dracula´s Castle; Sinaia – settled in the Prahova valley, with its ancient monastery and the famous Peles Castle, summer residence of the Romanian monarchy; Sighisoara – the one unique European city which still preserves untouched its medieval aspect; and Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
On request, we organize guided trekking, hiking and mountain biking trips, photography tours of nature and wildlife (depending on the season the area may range from brown bear to deer, stag, grous, fox and birds), or cultural visits to Brasov, Bran, Rasnov, Peles Castle, Sighisoara.

23 March - 29 March - 50 € / double room / night; 90 € / apartment / night. Minimum stay 7 nights.
30 March - 26 April - 25 € / double room / night; 40 € / apartment / night. Minimum stay 2 nights.
27 April - 3 May - 50 € / double room / night; 90 € / apartment / night. Minimum stay 7 nights.
4 May - 30 September - 35 € / double room / night; 65 € / apartment / night. Minimum stay 3 nights.
1 October - 19 December - 25 € / double room / night; 40 € / apartment / night. Minimum stay 2 nights.
20 Dec - 08 January - 50 € / double room / night; 90 € / apartment / night. Minimum stay 7 nights.
All rooms have ensuite bathroom. Apartments have a common ensuite bathroom for both rooms.
For 1 night stay (always on request) there is a 25 % supplemment. For the periods of 23 - 29 March, 27 April - 3 May and 20 Decembrer - 08 January, the guesthouse is only available for groups that rent the establishment entirely.
