Report from 2015 Visits to the local prison in Mazatlan Also this year we plan to go to the local prison and take a festive menu to our brethren, the inmates. The menu will be: grilled chicken with local side dishes: tortillas, salsa, diverse noodle salads with avocado and cream, mashed potatoes and to drink juice and mineral water. All this we can buy for a good price at 2,50 Euros or $ US 3, 50 for each meal. Our goal is to bring some joy to the 200 brethren and inmates and to show them that they have got a family in Christ who loves and cares for them.

A word that has really impressed me for this year´s visit is from Matthew 4:4::
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
So, the idea is to take not only good food for the brethren, but also good words from the country of the donors.
We want to encourage you to send a word of encouragement, exhortation, comfort a psalm or a prophetic word to the inmates along with the donation. We are going to print all words read them during the service and leave them with the pastor.
On this way you and ourselves can participate with word and action and jump over walls, cross the oceans and share the love of God.
We have got a permit to go and bring the items on on Monday, 23rd we are going to visit together with Pastor Omar and brethren from our congregations the church for the men inmates and have a meeting in teh women's tract yard. There we will have a kids service too.
A special matter for us are the kids ( yes - the kids of the women inmates live with their mums in the prison until age 11). We would like to take kids bible materials , games and bibles for kids to them. Your donations have a great part in this too.
