After a 24 hour dry time for the primer, I painted the bed, saddle, knee and base in Rustoleum Smoke Gray. The actual paint did lay down a little better than the primer, but it wanted to lift/streak a little. It did, however, tend to flow a little nicer, so the end result appears to be pretty good. There are a few thin spots that'll need touch up, but at least the the majority of the surfaces are now protected from rusting.
The bottom side of the bed with a coat of Smoke Gray paint.
The knee painted up pretty nice overall. Just a couple places on the corners that'll need touchup.
The top side of the base painted. I wasn't able to throw a coat in the underside because some of the primer on the bottom wasn't dry yet.
