So, after playing around with the Benchmaster a little bit on some scrap aluminum, I got to work on the teardown, cleanup, and repair process.
The table removed from the mill. The topside was a little rusty, not too bad. The underside was very greasy. The first real dissasembly was to remove the X axis leadscrew support from the end of the table. It's attached with 2 socket head screws and a couple locating dowel pins.
The X axis lead screw disassembled on the table.
The Y axis gib, gib screws, lead nut, lock screw, and the saddle. Greasy stuff.
The exposed knee of the Benchmaster and the Z axis miter gears. Also, the knee removed from the mill. More grease throughout.
