Tip 7: Looking at a specific item
Once you have your search results, you can look over them and choose an item that might be of interest to you and click on the item.
There would be lots of information on the items page (Not all might be available for certain items) such as:
- The title,
- Call number of the item (if its a book)
- Barcode of the item (if its a physical item)
- Subject
- Description
- Format
- Creation date
- Contributors
- Language
- Source
- Material type
For the purpose of this tip, the example given would be a physical book.
You would also have multiple options of saving the information such as citation, emailing the information, getting a perma link, printing, exporting etc.
