A revised flight path that takes into account the arcs (rings) reconstructed by Duncan Steel.

The path has a more convoluted curvature over Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal (flying over Andaman and Nicobar Islands), approaches the coast of Myanmar (Burma), and then follows, as the theory suggests, the border between India and Myanmar (Burma), heading north-east. There is uncertainty in which direction the flight continued around the north-east corner of Arunachal Pradesh (South Tibet), indicated by a couple of dotted arcs diverging in opposite directions at the end of the north-easterly path.

Black ovals mark approximate locations of the "handshakes" with Inmarsat, that is, the regions where the proposed flight path intersected with the ping rings.
