I use:
Dropbox
Box (box.com)
Google Docs (docs.google.com)
Each has its pluses and minuses. Dropbox is definitely the first one you should try.
Dropbox
Drobbox is my favorite because the Windows Interface is the most user friendly.
File upload is as easy as dragging a file into a folder.
Camera Uploads - automatically uploads pictures from my phone
Photo sharing is very convenient.
Box.com
I use because they gave all iPad/iPhone users 50Gb free.
I use this as a library for all of my Tech Manuals.
File upload is web page based (not fun)
Google Docs
- Has an online Word document editor. This is useful when I want to share a Word Doc with a lot of people that do not have the same tools that I have. I can update the document from any PC/MAC or my iPad, and guests can read the doc from any PC/MAC, Tablet or Smartphone. Works great for updates from the field.
- The Word editor is not efficient enough for business purposes, but does good enough for personal use.
File upload is web page based.
Since getting the iPad, I only use Evernote on the Droid Phone. This is more a testament to tablets and not the iPad specifically. The screen on the smartphone is just too small.
Droid Phone is still a critical tool see Droid Phone Notes

1) Drop Box
Use this link to sign up and give both of us 500 Mb extra space: http://db.tt/HwK3DNw
2 Gb Free, can get a lot more space through referrals. 500 Mb per referral.
I like because I put a synch folder on my laptop, and everything I put in that folder is available online.
Very easy to manage.
I am testing this to replace "Outlook Notes". Pages load a bit slower, but I like the format capabilities of Word. Works on Droid with DocsToGo.
I am now using Drop Box to tranfer pictures from my phone. I was using Google Picassa but it is much easier on Drop Box and the resolution is not an issue. Picassa may still be useful as a photo album, but Drop Box gets the job done faster when all I need is to get pictures from my phone to my computer.
2) Google Docs
I tried this, but it didn't allow me to open pdf's in "Adobe Reader". And the Google Reader was too clunky on the Droid.
5 Gb Free, I think
3) Amazon Cloud Drive
Have not tried yet. Need to compare to Drop Box.
5 Gb Free
4) SugarSync
