Atelier Meteny proposes a specially-reduced 30€ price for each rental lasting the duration of SMB's holiday course.
This is instead of their normal minimum price of 39€ for a rental lasting one month or less.
In addition, and if the participant's parent decided after the course to switch to a standard, longer-term rental, the 30€ paid for the course rental would be deduced from standard rental cost. A full description of Meteny's standard trhe-month rental prices (in French) may be found at the end of this page.
Conditions: Each child or adult renting a violin will be provided with a violin adapted to their size. Each violin comes with a bow, a case, a shoulder rest, and rosin. The basic insurance covering repairable damage and adjustments is included in the basic price; the omnium insurance covering irreparable damage or loss is optional and not included in the rental price.

The standard price for a three-month rental is 63€, including insurance on adjustment et repairable damage, or €73 with the optional full insurance covering also theft and non-repairable damage.
For violins which are half-sized or more, higher-quality instruments are also available. For these the standard three-month rental price is €80 with basic insurance or €92 with full insurance.
