Selena Del Olmo studied at the Conservatori de Música del Liceu (Barcelona), where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Violin in 2019. Then she decided to continue her studies in Belgium at LUCA School of Arts (Leuven), obtaining her Master’s Violin degree in 2024. During her time in Leuven, she discovered her passion for the Viola and decided to explore it further alongside her Violin studies. She recently obtained her Bachelor’s Viola degree in 2025.
In 2023, Selena began a Postgraduate in the Suzuki Method in the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp leaded by Koen Roens, Veerle Van Gorp and Wim Meuris. She has completed Levels 1 and 2 for Violin and is currently pursuing Level 3. She also holds a Suzuki Viola Level 1 certificate, which she obtained under the guidance of Mysie Ferguson.
Selena has been a member of several youth orchestras in Spain and currently collaborates as a freelance musician with various orchestras in Belgium.
Passionate about teaching, Selena enjoys working with children and young people, adopting a creative and personalized approach that makes learning both engaging and inspiring.
