Teacher Training
ESA Teacher Training
The teacher-training course of the European Suzuki Association (ESA) is organised in five levels. Trainees who reach Level 5 receive a diploma as Suzuki Method teacher and become category "A" members of the ESA.
For the violin, an ESA course is organised at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen (as a post-graduate course) by the Talent Education Suzuki Institute Belgium. For other instruments, ESA courses are available in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and elsewhere. For more information on ESA training courses in Europe, please visit the ESA website, http://www.europeansuzuki.org/ or the TESIB website, https://tesib.org/fr/formation-des-professeurs/.
SMB offers some financial support for the teacher-training of its members. If you already are a member of SMB and wish to apply for such support, please write to the Board of Directors at board@suzuki-music-brussels.be.
