Digital mobile radio (DMR) is an open digital mobile radio standard defined in the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Standard TS 102 361 parts 1–4[1] and used in commercial products around the world. DMR, along with P25 phase II and NXDN are the main competitor technologies in achieving 6.25 kHz equivalent bandwidth using the proprietary AMBE+2 vocoder. DMR and P25 II both use two-slot TDMA in a 12.5 kHz channel, while NXDN uses discrete 6.25 kHz channels using frequency division.
DMR was designed with three tiers. DMR tiers I and II (conventional) were first published in 2005, and DMR III (trunked) was published in 2012, with manufacturers producing products within a few years of each publication.
The primary goal of the standard is to specify a digital system with low complexity, low cost and interoperability across brands, so radio communications purchasers are not locked into a proprietary solution. In practice, many brands have not adhered to this open standard and have introduced proprietary features that make their product offerings non-interoperable.

BlueDV iOS can run in background! When the phone is in locked state or the screen is off, the connection will ( sometimes ) be timed out after 10 minutes.
It is not needed to pair the iBlueStack in iOS. BlueDV will pair it for you.
The App will be free again. Hope you have fun with it! If you find any bugs, please email me directly ( I am not member of any facebook groups )

CODE PLUGS
Joe, KC7JOE has created, and is sharing what is known on DMR as the Ultimate Code Plug!
There are 1000 channels which include US and European Repeaters/media/ems/grs/ etc.
Joe created 2 versions of code plugs, one for those using Repeaters and one for Hot Spots.
In the Download, Joe also provides an XL spreadsheet listing all the contents of his code plug.
His latest Ver. is .006 and he is currently working on Ver. .007
Joe has added support for the TYT MD2017
ver.006 - filenames
1.) for Brandmeister Repeater on Usery MTN in Mesa AZ with 2 zones.
2.) for OpenSpot zones increased with many talkgroups options
3.) excel spreadsheet description
CODE PLUG Editor
To edit your code plug, there are many code plug editors on the web that you can download.
The one I use is N0GSG Contact Editor.
The link will take you to N0GSG;s site where you can download the file and the How To .PDF file
