(Microbiology) Isolation and polytaxonomic characterization of novel and functional microorganisms
(Genome mining) Microbial genome analysis and genome mining of functional and core biosynthetic enzmes
(Biological chemistry) Development of core bioresources based on genome editing, metabolic engineering, and combinatorial biosynthesis
(Precision fermentation engineering) Mass production of biomaterials through optimization of microbial fermentation and subsequent processes
