Description
Engine 47 displaying it's full forward array of lights after recently being overhauled by the MLRR's DCC/Sound upgrade program for its AMD-103 locomotives.
The MLRR first P32AC-DM locomotive on the point of an Empire Corridor train in Penn Station.
The newly acquired Amtrak 40th Anniversary locomotives pose for a series of publicity shots. The locomotives were made possible when Amtrak approached Athearn about producing exclusive models of the prototype.
Engine 32 has been given new life as it was painted in the latest livery and upgraded with DCC/Sound & working ditch and reverse lights. Here it is seen leading the Silverstar back onto the mainline after making a stop in Sanford Florida.
Engine 156 on its first revenue run leads the northbound Carolinian as it rounds turn 2 on the MLRR mainline.
Engine 507 paused at the servicing station after just recently being acquired.
Engine 822 was shuffled around the MLRR layout after it initially entered service. The locomotive has been biding its time until a mock-up of the anniversary train can be put together by the MLRR, however the railroad has suggested that this engine could enter revenue service at any time.
Engine 47 leading train 95 between Washington, D.C. and Newport News in the summer of 2008. The MLRR has a special place in its heart for this train.
Engine 66 on its first revenue run on the point of the Silver Star in the summer of 2012.
Engine 116 backs onto train 95 in Washington, D.C. as it takes over power duties from an AEM7. This P42 will complete the balance of train 95's trip to Newport News from Boston, MA.
