Please do not wear team meet suits to practice. Practice suits can be purchased from online retailers as practice or grab bag suits, or from local retailers on sale.
(Copied from Letter Requirements page) Suits: in compliance with the spirit of the WIAA handbook it is strongly recommended that the team suit be used for all dual meets. If a swimmer chooses, he/she may purchase on his/her own, in addition to the team suit, another suit for competition at District, State, and some invitationals. These are often referred to as “Tech” suits and should have no markings of another team. Please clear this with the coach prior to use to insure compliance with all other NFHS, WIAA, District and League rules.
Goggles: more expensive is not better. The most expensive do not carry loss protection. They all get lost sooner or later. Anti-fog usually is not. Caps are an option and most will want them. The team provides one team cap for the season and a State Meet cap for those making the state team.
Each swimmer should have their own water bottle, labeled with their name, and at each practice and meet. Pool environments, by very nature, are warm and humid, and proper hydration is essential to peak performance.
All other equipment will be available at the pool.
Team suits (please do not purchase on your own, we will qualify for substantial discounts as a team purchase)
