"The Emancipatory Challenge of Critical Theory"
In 1993, Prof. Roderick recorded a series of lectures [now out of print] entitled Siege of the Self: Philosophy in the 20th Century for The Teaching Company. Copies of these lectures -- on Heidegger, Sartre, Marcuse, Habermas, Foucault, Derrida, Baudrillard, and others -- are sporadically available on YouTube, Google, and elsewhere; the 1993 lectures on Marcuse are particularly interesting, and they are made available here for educational purposes only.
