Final Assignment
Due: Final's Day
500 points (about 20 - 25% of your grade)
Create a new animation using aniboom.com or Photoshop with at least 1000 frames or 30 seconds. Subject of your choice except that the animation can not have any guns, knives or blood and guts. Token slap-stick violence is OK. If in doubt talk to me. It must be a new creation -- do not use one of your previous animations. Write up your story idea (one page storyboard before you start.) You will have only 40 minutes on final's day to finish your project. Your animation will be presented to the class the last 30 minutes of class on final's day.
The animation must have at least 6 of the 12 principles of animation in your animation. The principles are:
Timing Slow In and Slow Out
Arcs Follow Through and Overlapping
Secondary Action Squash and Stretch
Exaggeration Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose
Anticipation Staging
Personality Appeal
