Prelude to Magic of Christmas

SORRY, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS EVENT.

Violin, viola, and cello students will perform a prelude to Portland Symphony Orchestra’s "Magic of Christmas" concert on stage at Merrill Auditorium in Portland. This is a group performance play-in that includes Suzuki and Christmas tunes.

Schedule

11:00 - 11:30 AM: Students arrive

11:30 AM - 12:15 PM: Rehearse on stage

1:00 PM - 1:35 PM: MSA Prelude performance of Suzuki and Christmas music

2:00 PM: "Family Friendly" version of Magic of Christmas Concert


Attire

Black bottoms, white dress shirt, black shoes. No blue jeans, sneakers, or T-shirts. If this causes financial hardship for you,  please contact Lori (elscheck@colby.edu) to access a concert clothing exchange service for kids.

Participating families receive balcony ticket deals for the Dec. 16, 2:00 p.m. Magic of Christmas concert that follows the MSA performance.
