Attached is my final evaluation from my preceptor during my internship at the International Rescue Committee. My preceptor was Christy Danahey, a Case Manager at the organization.
I have also attached my internship activity and time log for each month. I spent a total of 272 hours interning at the IRC, from January 2013 to April 2013. About 50 hours of that was spent working on documents and my handbook at home. Some of the activities I did as the Health Advocate intern was guiding refugee clients through our health system by: establishing care with a primary care doctor, setting up dental and optical appointments, enrolling clients onto WIC, teaching clients how to drop of and pick up a prescription, and many other health related activities.
