My name is Mae Rouhani, and I am a Masters in Public Health-Global Health student at the University of Arizona. My cultural background is Persian, and I love every aspect of it. My family embraces our culture by celebrating Persian holidays and participating in events in our area. I am truly blessed to be able to speak my mother language, Farsi. I try my best to look at the happiness and positive aspects of life. Being a member of the Baha'i faith has taught me to practice detachment from worldly possessions. My morals and values are what make me so appreciative of life. I believe that a physically and mentally healthy world will lead humanity towards a peaceful and positive place.
Art plays a huge role in my life: fashion, photography, painting, and drawing. It is something that has defined human beings for ages. Art is a universal language, which can be understood and appreciated all over the world. That is one of the main reasons as to why I love traveling.
In this site, I have compilations of works from my Public Health courses, Undergraduate Public Health Internship, my "Love Your Skin" blog, and my "Changing the World" blog. All my works are composed of my beliefs (from liable sources) on healthcare, and my blog emphasizes on how good skin care can make you live a happier life. Almost each post and work includes a creative photo or a video that is relevant to the topic. This gives my readers something to visualize while scoping around. It's a little snippet of art that I believe is important to include. Enjoy!
