MHS battles begin early-February!
Our Region 4 Northwest battle will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Alliance Charter Academy in Oregon City.
The OBOB State Tournament will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Chemeketa Community College in Salem.

The 7th annual Verselandia all-city poetry slam was amazing!
Ladia Hankins and Becca Watkins, both Madison freshmen, killed their performances! Becca made it into the second round. Please congratulate them and encourage them to compete again next year.

Thrilling news! Kim Purcell, (2013 Madison Reads author of Trafficked)
has written a new book. This Is Not a Love Letter will be released January 30, 2018.
Our school community will read the book and the author will come back for a visit on
Friday, March 9, 2018 periods 3 & 4.

OBOB battles were fought. Team “Incredible Potatoes” won our school championship and represented Madison at the regional OBOB competition Saturday, at Canby High School. They didn’t move on to state, but did a great job representing us. Please join us in congratulating The Incredible Potatoes!
