GIBBONS
Birthplace and parents of Anne Mary ("Hannah") GIBBONS (b. 24 June 1847 according to family bible) who immigrated allegedly from London, England to New Zealand before 1867, likely around 1866 and initially settled in Oamaru, Otago; married Samuel LINTERN on 9 August 1867 in St Luke’s Anglican Church in Oamaru, Otago.

PLEASE NOTE: Though birth/baptism records and Hannah's NZ death certificate suggest Hannah was the daughter of Sills John GIBBONS & Ann CROOKES, England census records prove this is not so as Sills & Ann's daughter Anne Mary was still showing in English records when our Hannah was in New Zealand and married to Samuel.
