Anne Mary "Hannah" GIBBONS' birth date is recorded as 24 June in our family bible.

The Anne Mary GIBBONS born on 24 June 1847 to merchant Sills John GIBBONS & Ann [CROOKES] and christened on 28 July 1847 in St Andrew by the Wardrobe, London, England appears to not be our Hannah. Though our Hannah's NZ death certificate records her parents as Sills John GIBBONS, merchant of London & Ann [Crookes] GIBBONS, the above Anne Mary GIBBONS was still showing in England census records when our Hannah was in New Zealand and married to Samuel LINTERN.

Interestingly, one of Samuel & Hannah's daughters records her mother Hannah's maiden name as CROOKES on marriage and death registers.
