The Lockport Education Association is comprised of almost 500 highly qualified professionals who have chosen to dedicate their career to educating the children of Lockport, NY. The association is an affiliate of the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT), which is affiliated with The American Federation of Teachers (AFT), National Education Association (NEA), and The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO).

We are skilled professionals who combine experience in the classroom, extensive knowledge of content, and an understanding of how students learn. The most important work in public education occurs in the classroom between educator and student.
