Technology is one of many tools, which I utilize to achieve broad as well as specific purposes and goals. It is an essential component of addressing the WV COS and and 21st Century Skills.

Essential skills are addressed through many different avenues:

▪ Use of subject-oriented interactive software with emphasis on basic skills improvement

▪ Use of Power Point presentation to deliver content through visual as well as verbal means

▪ Use of the Internet to promote reading, research skills, and reinforcement of content

▪ Videos that reinforce content delivered

▪ Use of word processors to enhance writing and spelling capabilities

Unique Features:

• PowerPoint presentations are used as class starters in which students answer journal questions.

• Use of MOBIS (Mobile Interactive Whiteboards)

• Use of Glogster an online interactive poster maker

• Students create PowerPoint presentations that showcase their strengths and these presentations are housed on the server and can be accessed from any room in the school.
