Concert Attire:
Fall and Spring concerts: A nice collared shirt, blouse or plain shirt (no writing or images); solid color pants or dress / skirt; solid clean shoes or flats / heels.
Jazz Festival: Black shirt, black pants, black socks and dark shoes.
Winter and Festival concerts: White dress shirt, black pants, black socks and black shoes. Ladies can wear a nice dress with appropriate shoes. If you have questions about the attire, contact the director.
Marching Band & Colorguard Uniform:
The Live Oak Middle School Marching Band and Colorguard perform at our local elementary schools, local parades and competitions. Everytime we are out in public, we represent our school and our city. We wear our uniforms with pride and dignity. As a member of the Live Oak Marching Band and Colorguard, we will always be respectful of others.
Tulare County Fair Parade: Band and colorguard will wear our marching shirt, black pants, black shoes and black socks. Example of the pants, shoes and socks can be seen below.
Band: A uniform will be checked out to each student that participates in the marching band and colorguard. Band students will be assigned a hat, jacket with sash, and pants. Each student will also need black calf-high socks and black marching shoes.
Colorguard: Some members may be assigned a top and pants. Others will wear our marching shirt and black jeans. All colorguard members will need black calf-high socks and black shoes.
TRANSPORTATION:
All Marching Band and Colorguard members are expected to ride the bus for all out-of-town performances. For performances in Tulare, a location and time will be given. Students are expected to get a ride to and from the performance. If there is a concern, the director must be contacted immediately.
