Colorguard

This is an after school program open to all incoming 7th and 8th grade students.  At the beginning of the school year, we will have after school workshops and then try-outs.  Students will be selected based on effort, attitude and attendance.  All colorguard students are required to attend practices that will be after school every Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.  Practices start the week after try-out in August and going through the first week of December.  

Because of our schedule, all after school fall sports like volleyball, basketball and cross country are conflicts.  These after school sports have practices and games the same day as our practices.  Students would not be able to participate in both colorguard and those after school fall sports.  The colorguard team cannot afford to have a member miss practice.  We are consistently learning new routine and improving our techniques. 

All colorguard members will attend all the parades listed in the Performance Schedule.  

We are looking for students that want to join our group and dedicate their time to our goal which is to be the best team possible.
